Cradle of life

Up and down
rocks the cradle of life
How does it matter
what I do ?
Whether I lived
whether I died
whether I did
or I didn't do ?
Of no consequence
would be the same
I might have had fortune
or maybe just fame
but none does matter
in the ultimate game
for life seems so small
though my doings look tall
In the light of truth
they have no meaning at all
except to rock the cradle
and that's all.
